Among the many culinary delights, stalls and exhibitions was The True taste Kitchen with the Great Britrish menu winner Bryn Williams and the author of 'Food Wales' Colin Pressdee.

On both Saturday and Sunday local chefs from hotels and restaurants in the area joined forces with Llandrillo college students in the Conwy Market area to create some mouth watering dishes using local produce. The 'kitchen demonstration' included dishes made from venison, pheasant and turbot and of course lamb.

Relaxing on Conwy quay

The Conwy Feast also played host to the Malaysian Festival which was held on the Quay. As well as being able to sample the delights of malaysian cuisine there was a display of Malaysian cultural dance.

If music is the food of love there was no shortage over the weekend! From the classical blend of guitar and flute in St Mary's church, to a more upbeat musical 'banquet' on Saturday Night, when the Civic Hall hosted Welsh Band night featuring Euros childs, Gwyneth Glyn and Mr Huw.

Music Workshops by MASE (Music and Sound Experience) showed how to rattle those pots and pans using kitchen implements to make music rather than food.

No festival in Conwy would be complete without some dancing in the streets. This was provided courtesy of the WeeBag Band who played their irrestistable brand of acoustic Irish music.

And as a finale to the feast the grande costume parade included an impressive Malaysian Lion and and a magnificent six person dragon.
